OUR MISSION…

In August 2011, I was overwhelmed with emotion when watching a short documentary on the poor and starving children of Haiti. I wanted to flip the channel and focus on a more positive subject, but something inside my soul made me stop and watch. It hurt my heart to see these tiny, starving children who had little or nothing to look forward to in life. I wanted to make a difference, even if a hug was all I could offer. I prayed that God would open doors for me and show me a way that I could help.

In the fall of 2011, shortly after mentioning the program to friends and family, I was given the opportunity to organize a short trip to deliver Christmas presents and supplies to a small orphanage in Haiti called New Life for Kids. The mental images of this trip will remain with me forever.

As we entered the huge, guarded concrete walls of the New Life Orphanage, I was warmly greeted by a tiny, blonde woman holding 2 small growth-stunted children in her arms with another wrapped tightly around her leg. Her name was Miriam Frederick, and she is the founder of The New Life Orphanage in Haiti. She started the orphanage 30 years ago (long before the earthquake) and has dedicated her life to saving these critically sick children – – – and it is very obvious she is loved.

Now, after getting to know Miriam, I am positive this woman is an Angel on earth. (Hebrews 13:2) Miriam took my hand and proudly walked me around showing me her little medical clinic, the housing situation and the garden where she is teaching them to grow food for survival. On the small piece of land next door, Miriam is planning to build an educational building to teach them trades so that they can learn to survive in a world with few resources and raging illiteracy.

These innocent children are forgotten and still badly need our help.

AGE REVERSER LLC has decided to dedicate a portion of our profits to help Miriam and New Life for Kids Orphanage to rehabilitate sick and dying children who, without her, would have little or no hope for survival.
